Our featured guest speaker will be Dr. Eugene White, Superintendent of Indianapolis
Public Schools. The evening will conclude with a mini concert featuring
the rhythm and style of the Cotton Club.

Fort Wayne Urban League.

OLD SCHOOL DANCE PARTY & FUNDRAISER

Arlington Park Clubhouse,
"Continuing the Mission, Spreading the Love" is an old school fundraiser
to benefit Condra Ridley. Condra is fighting the good fight against breast
cencer, and proceeds from this event will help her family with medical bills.
This dance party will include a raffle for $500.
Cost:Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20. Winners do not have to
be present to win.
VETERAN'S DAY DANCE

Queens Literature and Art Club was formed to inspire young girls (ages
7 to 12) to achieve academic excellence, positive attitudes, good character,
manners, and communication skills by integrating drama, literature, music,
and dance in stories/lessons that enrich their lives. The club will present
the play Slave Girl's Journey, which was inspired from the American Girl's
book Addy.

MUSEUM TRIP

The African/African American Historical Society Museum has planned a trip
to visit the Charles H. Wright American Museum and the Motown Museum in
Detroit. The multi-million dollar Wright Museum is one of the leading African-American
Museums in the nation. The Motown Museum is housed in the original building
where it was founded by Berry Gordy in the 1950s.
Cost:$35 per person, which includes bus transportation and a continental
breakfast. Entrance fees to the museums are not included.
